Visa Application Processing Time

Visa Application Processing Time

To check the processing time for applications submitted to the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), you can follow these steps:

1. Visit the IRCC website: Go to the official website of the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada at https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html

2. Find the “Check application processing times” page: Look for a search bar or navigation menu on the website. Enter “Check application processing times” in the search bar or navigate through the menus to find the page specifically dedicated to checking processing times.

3. Select the appropriate application type: On the processing times page, you will typically find a list of different application types, such as study permits, work permits, visitor visas, permanent residency, etc. Choose the category that corresponds to your application type.

4. Choose the location and processing office: Select the location and processing office that is relevant to your application. Processing times may vary depending on the specific office handling your application.

5. Check the processing times: Once you’ve selected the application type and processing office, you should be able to see the estimated processing times. These times can give you an idea of how long it may take for your application to be processed.

It’s important to note that processing times provided on the IRCC website are estimates and can vary depending on various factors such as the volume of applications, the complexity of your case, and the accuracy and completeness of your application.
